Clearwater, Florida offers incredible fishing year-round, but planning your charter around seasonal patterns can help you target the species you want most. Here’s a quick guide to the best fishing seasons in Clearwater, Dunedin, and Tarpon Springs:
✔ Spring & Fall – Peak Inshore Fishing
Prime time for redfish, snook, and speckled trout on the flats, mangrove edges, and oyster bars. These seasons offer some of the most consistent inshore fishing of the year.
✔ Summer – Tarpon Migration & Beach Snook
Clearwater’s world-famous tarpon season runs May through July, bringing giant silver kings along the beaches. Big snook also stack up along the passes and shoreline.
✔ Winter – Clear Water & Trophy Sight-Fishing
Cooler temperatures bring outstanding sight-fishing for large redfish, plus a strong mix of sheepshead, snapper, mackerel, and other nearshore species.

3 HR - INSHORE SIGHTFISHING OR FLY FISHING EXPERIENCE
This is a true one-on-one sight fishing experience in extremely shallow water. We fish from a lightweight Gheenoe, allowing us to quietly stalk redfish, snook, and juvenile tarpon in places most boats can’t reach. You’ll get 100% of the bow time, spotting fish and making the casts while we work silently through the flats.
3HR TRIP IS $350
SKINNYWATER EXPERIENCE
This is our most technical and immersive inshore fishing trip, designed for anglers who want a true one-on-one sight fishing experience in extremely shallow water.
We fish from a Gheenoe, a lightweight flats boat that allows us to quietly access water most boats simply cannot reach. There’s no crowd, no engine noise, and no pressure — just you, the guide, and the fish.
We’ll be stalking redfish, snook, and juvenile tarpon in inches of water. We use artificial lures on spinning gear or fly fishing equipment on these trips. Live bait can be used it all depends on what you want to do.
These are true visual opportunities where every decision matters — boat position, cast placement, and presentation. Let's go fishing!

This trip is a true 1 on 1 inshore sight fishing experience, built for anglers who want to sightfish extremely shallow water. We run this trip from a Gheenoe, a lightweight flats boat that gives us access to water most boats can’t touch. There’s no crowd and no noise — just you on the bow, the guide behind you, and the fish in front of us.

Located in beautiful Downtown Tarpon Springs on the Anclote River. This location putts us immediately into the prime fishing zones. Plenty of parking and we are right by Rusty Bellies the best riverfront watering hole and restaurant. Its the perfect spot to hang out before or after your trip. Cold beer, great local seafood and the best views on the river!

Staying in one of our amazing surrounding areas like Dunedin, St. Pete, Treasure Island or Clearwater Beach? Then we can meet closer to you. This ramp has tons of paid parking and multiple docks to safely get on and off the boat. This is a great area to fish with direct access to the Gulf and some great inshore fishing.
